Can I pay online for my storage?
Yes, once you have been set up as a customer you will receive details on how to pay online.
Do we have to stay for the minimum of 1 month?
Yes, once you have been set up as a customer you will receive details on how to pay online.
How frequently can we access our unit?
Within our opening hours, customers can come and go as many times as they like.
Is there any access outside of working hours?
Unfortunately there is no standard access outside of working hours. Please request an appointment to access the site outside of working hours.
Do you offer a discount for more than one unit or for a long term rental?
Yes – we offer long term discounts and multiple unit discounts at our discretion.
What happens if I lose a key?
If you lose a key you there is a £12 charge per key for replacement, we have to go back to the padlock manufacturer as we do not keep copies of keys. This will take several working days.
What happens if I lose both keys or the padlock?
If both keys or the padlock are lost you will need to pay for a new (identical) padlock and keys (£66.00). If you do not make this payment it will be taken out of your deposit.
Can i protect my items whilst kept in storage?
We offer StoreProtect, an enhanced liability protection on our storage units, giving you the peace of mind when you’re storing your items with us. Please contact us for more information on StoreProtect.
Are there staff on site at all times?
There is always someone on call during opening hours and the owners live on site.
Can I run a business from Savvy Storage?
Keeping business stock (including vehicles) on the site is fine. However all of our facilities are for storage only and cannot be used for business activities – this includes trading vehicles on site.
Can I use the storage unit as a postal address?
We cannot receive post and the units must not be used as a postal address.
Do the storage units have electricity or water connected?
No, there are no mains supplies.
